Had the old DAB tuned to Radio One the other day while chowing down on my Sainsbury's pitta bread, only to be drawn to the LCD to catch the title of one little dirtily vocaled electro banger. Que my surprise as Groove Armada scrolls across the screen as the artist. Obviously pays to listen to daytime radio once in a while!

To be honest if I saw Groove Armada on a blog I probably wouldn't give it a second look but this is worth your bandwidth. It feels like a mix of the vocals from Warrior Queen's absolute dancefloor destroyer Almighty Father with beats like Para One doing a bad impression of Bugz in the Attic or something. Scene hoppingly derivative but a proper speaker destroyer!!

This one's strictly limited downloads cos its too fresh n so mainstream for me to be sticking up on zshare or something. Still, more music on the weekend...
